Da Nang boasts a healthy, clean and safe environment, along with modern facilities and an improving infrastructure.  Thanks to this, the city is emerging as a must-visit destination for both domestic and foreign visitors. 

However, it seems to have been the friendliness and hospitability of its residents which has left the greatest impression on the tourists who have visited already, whether from elsewhere in Viet Nam or from other countries.

A male visitor from Ha Noi said, “Almost every time my wife and I visit Da Nang we stay in 5-star seaside hotels.  However, last year we stayed in the house of my sister-in-law’s friend in Son Tra District.  Whilst staying there, I had a good opportunity to experience the peace and safety of a residential area, as well as the kindliness and friendliness of the locals”.

He said that he was very surprised when he was told that he could go to bed without needing to lock the front door, and that he could ask the neighbours for help at any time.

Apart from its beautiful landscapes and attractions, the reputation of local residents being friendly and hospitable is becoming a major factor in attracting tourists to the city.
