Last Saturday, thousands of electronic dance music (EDM) lovers in Da Nang were treated to an impressive disc jockey (DJ) show entitled ‘Da Nang Electronic Carnival 2016’ at the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park in Son Tra District.

The outdoor event featured world-renowned DJs Headhunterz, Florian Picasso, and Alok Petrillo, plus famous domestic ones SlimV, HuyDX, Get Looze, Minh Tri and Mike Hao.

Headhunterz, who is one of the world's top 50 DJs, performed hardstyle electronic music on fast tempo together with deep and hard-sounding kick drum.  Meanwhile, Vietnamese-French Florian Picasso, the adopted great-grandson of world famous artist Pablo Picasso, is well-known in Viet Nam for his hit show ‘Origami’.

All the DJs expressed their wish to perform again in Da Nang in the near future because the city is attractive to them.

A spokesperson for the Holiday Beach Danang Hotel and Resort said that this type of the musical performance on the beach helps to diversify the city's tourism products, and effectively advertises local tourism to domestic and international visitors.
