Last Saturday, an interesting street parade of live music and dancing took place along the section of Da Nang’s Tran Hung Dao between the Rong (Dragon) Bridge and its intersection with Trieu Viet Vuong.

Co-organised by the Son Tra District People’s Committee and the municipal Cultural Centre, the event involved around 200 dancers and musicians from local dance clubs and other relevant agencies. 

The street artistes, in eye-catching costumes, paraded along the street.  Many different genres of music were covered, including valse, Latin pasodoble, tango, cha-cha and disco.

The street parades take place on the last Saturday of every month between 8pm and 9.30pm.
