The lucky person was Mrs Thai Thi Hoa Ly, an employee from Quang Tri Province’s Department of Education and Training. She, and 24 others from the Department who were in a visiting group, enjoyed exemptions from entrance and elevator-usage fees. In addition, they received a photo featuring an overview of the Marble Mountains, and a souvenir from the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village.
Mr Le Quang Tuoi, Head of the Management Board of the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, remarked that his unit had been planning the welcome of the 1-millionth visitor since the start of this year. He noted that the friendly and polite attitude and behaviour of the Management Board’s staff towards visitors has been maintained in order to develop the Marble Mountains into a safe, civilised and friendly destination.
