Exchange meeting between ABG5's participating athletes and local university students
On Friday evening, an exchange meeting between some athletes participating in the ongoing 5th Asian Beach Games (ABG5) and students from some of Da Nang's universities took place at the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge.

In attendance at the event were Malaysian Pencak Silat athletes Taqiyuddin Hamid and Mohd Sharif, Vietnamese bodybuilder Pham Kim Nhan and Vietnamese Jujitsu fighter Duong Thi Thanh Minh, along with other ABG5 athletes, plus Da Nang's students from the University of Sports and Physical Training and the Duy Tan University.
The participating athletes talked about their great passion for sports, and their difficulties in hard training sessions to help them gain outstanding achievements in their competitions.
During his talk with the city's students, Vietnamese bodybuilder Nhan remarked “The age of youth is the age of ardent dedication and great passion. Therefore, I hope that all of you here will choose a favourite kind of sports to improve your physical fitness and create a healthy lifestyle. From here, young sports talents will be discovered for the city, and the country as a whole”.
In addition, some musical and dance performances performed by students from the University of Sports and Physical Training created an exciting atmosphere during the event.
