Organised by the library and the municipal Artistic Photography Association, the exhibition is part of a series of events to celebrate the 20 years since Da Nang was recognised as a centrally-governed city on 1 January 1997.

A total of over 100 impressive photos are on display, taken by 45 local photographers.  They showcase the vivid beauty of the city, and the popular local attractions and entertainment areas.  In addition, they depict some amazing moments from international events held in the city, including the Clipper Race fleet’s arrival in Da Nang in February 2016, and the recent 5th Asian Beach Games.

The exhibition also features over 500 books reflecting the city’s innovative progress over the past 2 decades.

As reported on Tuesday, the Da Nang Museum also currently has an exhibition of photos to celebrate Da Nang’s 20th anniversary.  Open daily between 8.00am and 5.00pm, this exhibition focuses on the city’s achievements over the past 20 years, and it runs until 10 January.
