Floral displays are being installed on the land area in front of the Da Nang Administrative Centre, at the intersection of Duy Tan and 2 September streets, at the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho, Duy Tan and Le Dinh Ly streets, and along a section of Bach Dang near the Dragon Bridge. The highlight of the floral displays is in front of the former municipal People's Committee headquarters at 42 Bach Dang.  This colourful display features a rooster, the mascot of the next lunar year, and eggs with many different types of flowers inside.

The 3m-high rooster has been decorated by artisan Nguyen Dinh My.  He is a freelance employee of the city’s Green Trees-Park Company and has had 30 years’ experience making Tet decorations for the 29 March Park.

Rooster-shaped decorations can also be seen near the dragon’s head end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge.

Images of roosters also appear on the welcome gates near western end of the bridge, and on Nguyen Sinh Sac.

Many different kinds of flowers are being used, including raspberries, azaleas, petunias, and impatiens walleriana.  Also on display are items woven from rice straw, as well as re-creations of images of rural areas.

In addition to the floral decorations, Da Nang has spent 2.5 billion VND on lighting decorations.
