These additional opening hours were announced on Thursday at a seminar in Da Nang which had been organised by the Hue Relics Preservation Centre.
Evening tickets will cost the same as daytime ones - 120,000 VND for Vietnamese and 150,000 VND for foreigners.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the sparkling beauty of the Imperial Citadel at night, as well as enjoy ancient royal rituals, traditional dances and arts performances.
At the seminar in Da Nang, the Hue Relics Preservation Centre also introduced its ‘Golden Tourism Week’ programme which will take place at Thua Thien-Hue Province's Hue Relic Site between 22 and 28 April. Some promotion programmes, including 50% off tickets to the Citadel at night and many attractive discounts on tickets to watch other musical concerts and for souvenirs, were also introduced.
