Labour Day Festival to be held next month
The 2017 Labour Day Festival will take place in Da Nang’s Tien Son Sports Arena on 22 and 23 April, with the event expected to attract around 3,000 workers from across the city.
Co-organised by the Trade Promotion Centre and the Labour Union in Da Nang, the event is part of the city’s activities to celebrate the 131th anniversary of International Labour Day (1 May). In addition, it aims to mark the coinciding visit by Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc to the city to meet with workers from localities in the central key economic zone.
During the Festival, there will be a dialogue between PM Phuc and participating workers, along with stalls selling high-quality domestic products with attractive promotion programmes.
In addition, the event will feature various community benefits, including catering services, free-of-charge hair cutting, free medical examinations and medicines, and fascinating musical performances.
