The 5 hot air balloons, produced by South Korea’s PAX IND company, will feature the symbol of Da Nang, and the official logos of DIFF 2017 and local tourism.

On Sunday evening, during the DIFF opening ceremony, the eye-catching balloons will fly over the main 5-sided stage floating on the Han River prior to the first fireworks performances by the teams Da Nang-Viet Nam and Austria.

The opening ceremony will also include a fascinating paramotor display in the sky to entertain the audience waiting to enjoy the amazing fireworks shows.  The paramotors and the 5 hot air balloons will drop a colourful shower of confetti.

The displays of the paramotors and balloons aim not only to mark the opening of this year’s DIFF, but also to welcome the upcoming 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and South Korea (22 December).
