Domestic and foreign Kayakers from 30 teams will compete in the annual Da Nang Kayak Open Race from 8.00am to 10.00am on 30 April.

The city’s Kayak Club said the race is open to all Vietnamese and foreigners, and participants can register at travel agencies in Da Nang and other central localities.

Competitors will race for 1.5km off a beach near the East Sea Park in Son Tra District.

It is the 4^th time that the race has been held by the club to celebrate the National Reunification Day on 30 April.

Kayaking was introduced as one of the city's water sports in 2014, with training courses held every week for 500 members.
