This is the 1st time that a trailer for a TV series made in Viet Nam has got so many views; it was also shared more than 89,000 times on Facebook.

The series focuses on one of the thorniest issues in marriages in Viet Nam - living with the in-laws. As in many other Asian countries, it’s common for young married couples to live with the husband’s parents.

The 8-minute trailer shows some of the most awkward and bizarre situations that arise from the mother-in-law-daughter-in-law conflicts that nearly destroy the couple’s marriage.

Living with Mother-in-law will be on air every Thursdays and Fridays, starting form 6 April on VTV1.
