On Thursday, a space for community culture opened at Da Nang's East Sea Park in Son Tra District.  It features a total of 80 stands selling souvenirs and food, as well as introducing Vietnamese traditional folk games.

A spokeperson from the municipal Department of Tourism said the space will open until the end of this month in order to meet the increasing entertainment demand of locals and visitors.

As scheduled, the space will open from 9.00 am untill 10.00 pm every day from May 19 -31.

Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of local specialities, and to buy such locally-made tourism products as stone sculptures, organic cosmetics, bamboo crafts, and carved shells.

In addition, locals and visitors will be treated to live musical performances every night.

According to the Department, a bartending competition will soon take place in the city with the participation of contestants from Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Da Nang.
