Toyota Junior Football Clinic Camp to start next month

The Toyota Junior Football Clinic and Camp 2017 is scheduled to run from 4 June to 30 August in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Thanh Hoa and Ha Noi.

The qualifying round will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on 4 June, Da Nang on 11 June, Thanh Hoa on 18 June, and Ha Noi on 25 June.

This is the 3rd year that the event has been held under the support from the Ministry of Education and Training.  It aims to train school pupils from 9 to 12 with great passion for football. 

Vietnamese former famous footballer Nguyen Hong Son continues to be the head coach this season.

The event features 3 main activities: selection rounds in the 4 big cities, 7 days training camp in Ho Chi Minh City from 30 July to 6 August for the best 30 participants, and 7 days of touring and friendly matches in Japan from 23 - 30 August for the best 18 participants selected from training camp.

Especially, the organisers will give a special award for the best 5 young football players selected from 18 pupils that participated in TOYOTA International Junior Cup in Japan. The best 5 young football players will receive a year-long scholarship for an extracurricular course organised by professional football clubs nationwide, in which they will be trained with football skills in a professional environment.

The event is a chance for all children countrywide for experience, exchange and being trained in a professional football environment.

The organisers also announced a Football TV Programme, 'When the ball rolls', together with 'Toyota Junior Football Clinic & Camp' in order to share football skills and rules to football lovers in Viet Nam
