The Viet Nam Football Federation has announced that the International U15 Football Tournament will take place in Da Nang from 14-18 June.  The event will feature national U15 football teams from Viet Nam, Indonesia, Myanmar and Taiwan.

The tournament will be a good opportunity for the Vietnamese team to enhance their professional skills in preparation for the Southeast Asian U15 Football Championships which take place in Chonburi Province, Thailand from 9-23 July.  At those championships, Viet Nam has been drawn in Group B with East Timor, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Brunei.

Then in September, the Viet Nam U15 team will compete in the qualifying rounds of the Asia-AFC U16 Championships in Mongolia from 20-24 September.  At this event, Viet Nam is in Group I with Australia, Cambodia, and Mongolia, with the winner of the group going into the final round of the 2018 Asia-AFC U16 Championships.
