The 2017 National Football Tournament for Children is taking place at Da Nang’s Tien Son Sports Arena from 10 - 18 August.

This year’s tournament has 16 teams from across the country participating, divided into 4 groups.

Group A: Vinh Phuc, Binh Phuoc, Hai Phong and Yen Bai.

Group B: Song Lam Nghe An, Hung Yen, Tay Ninh and Quang Ngai.

Group C: Phu Yen, Thang Long FC, SHB Da Nang and Quang Ninh.

Group D: Hai Duong, Ha Tinh, Thai Duong and Thanh Hoa.

Under the competition’s rules, the teams compete in a round-robin format.

The opening day of the tournament featured the exciting match between SHB Da Nang and Quang Ninh.  In the end, the home team defeated Quang Ninh 2-0. 

This morning, 11 August, the match was Phu Yen v Thang Long FC.
