SHB Da Nang have now dropped into 8^th place in the V League after a disappointing 0-1 home loss to Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) in the Hoa Xuan Stadium yesterday.

SLNA focused on defensive and rapid counter-attack tactics, and making continuous and varied attacks to put pressure on their rivals.  In addition, their midfielder Vo Ngoc Toan closely marked SHB DN’s hero Do Merlo to prevent him from making the best of his skills.  As a result, an exciting first half ended goalless.

In the second half, SLNA opened their scoring in the 64^th minute through their midfielder Le The Cuong due to the home team’s loose defence, giving the visitors a 0-1 win.

               Thanh Hoa 2-3 Quang Nam

Thanh Hoa currently top the league with 33 points.  They were followed by Ha Noi, Quang Nam and Sai Gon all on 31.  SHB DN are in 8^th place on 25 points. Can Tho and Long An are the bottom pair, with 17 and 8 points respectively.
