Exhibition of paintings about Viet Nam-Laos-Cambodia until 26 Sept
An exhibition of paintings about Viet Nam-Laos-Cambodia is taking place at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan, until 26 September.

In attendance at the event’s opening ceremony yesterday were Laotian Consul General Khamsene Phommaseng, Director of Fine Arts and Handicrafts Department under the management of the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Arts Chhim Sothy, and Head of the Da Nang Department of Publicity and Training Dang Viet Dung.
The exhibition aims to enhance cultural and arts exchange activities amongst painters in Viet Nam, Laos and Cambodia, as well as deepen the long-lasting friendship and solidarity amongst the three countries.
The event features 55 paintings which are made from many different kinds of materials by 22 painters from Da Nang, Laos and Cambodia. The displayed works showcase the beauty and the traditional culture values of the 3 countries such as Vietnamese and Lao girls, traditional Laotian New Year festival, and Cham Apsara dance.
In particular, the participating painters will have the opportunity to visit and draw at the Son Tra Peninsula, the Hai Van Gate, and Hoi An City.
