It was recently reported that, since the start of this year, a total of about 50 festive events have taken place along both banks of the Han River.

Of these activities, 9 were held every weekend, 19 took place on the sidelines of the large-scale international and domestic events, whilst the remainder were organsied by the authorities of the Son Tra and Hai Chau districts along major streets of Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao.

This year’s festive activities helped to create fascinating arts spaces along both banks of the river, and to satisfy the increasing relaxation and entertainment demands of city-dwellers and visitors from both home and abroad.

The municipal Department of Culture and Sports recently asked other relevant local agencies to find even more effective ways in a bid to enhance the quality of upcoming festive events, and to organise more healthy community events in the years ahead.

In particular, more appeals for public investment into future cultural and entertainment activities will be made in the coming time.
