11 Japanese movies to be screened in city
As many as 11 interesting Japanese films will be screened at the Le Do Cinema, 46 Tran Phu, Hai Chau District, Da Nang from 5 - 7 and 13 - 14 January as part of an annual cultural exchange programme between Japan and the city.

The Viet Nam-Japan Culture Exchange Centre said the films, produced between 2015 and 2017, will be screened for free.
The Japanese film week will screen ‘Sweet Bean’, ‘Her Love Boils Bathwater’, ‘Long Excuse’, ‘Rudolf the Black Cat’, ‘Reflection’, ‘Tora-san of Goto’, ‘Tsukiji Wonderland’, ‘Daytime Shooting Star’, ‘ReLIFE’, ‘Survival Family’, ‘Hannouji Hotel’ in English with Vietnamese subtitles.
A total of more than 400,000 Japanese tourists, the second largest group of foreigners, visited the city in 2016.
Direct flights connecting Da Nang with Osaka and Narita have been launched in a bid to attract more visitors to one another.
