The Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports will sign contracts with a total of 18 foreign coaches who will train local athletes to compete in sports compettions at national and international levels during this year.  Under the signed contracts, apart from their monthly salaries, these foreigners will enjoy many benefits.  In particular, table tennis coach will be given regular expenses for their meals, and 2 air tickets for international routes every year.

In addition, a total of 15 selected sport teams, 9 domestic coaches, and 48 athletes in the city will have the chance to attend overseas training courses, whilst other 29 selected sport teams, 33 domestic coaches and 163 athletes will be trained at home.

This year, a large number of athletes and coaches will be sent to compete in a total of 82 international sporting events.
