Since 2013, the Communal House Festival in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Minh Ward has been held annually, with hosts alternating between Hoa My, Hoa Phu, Trung Nghia and Phuoc Ly villages.

This year’s event took place in Hoa My Village on the 12^th day of the 1^st lunar month (27 February), and drew a great deal of attention from villagers.

The festival featured a number of solemn rituals to honour ancestors and to pray for peace, happiness and prosperity throughout the year.

In addition, a wide range of exciting cultural activities were held during the festival, including friendly football matches between teams from the district’s villages, and arts performances by artistes from the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre.
