At 8.45pm on Monday, a spectacular fireworks display by the host team Da Nang-Viet Nam lit up the city’s sky.

Taking ‘The Bridge of Love’ as its theme, the hosts-delivered display was more imposing and impressive than the previous competitions with the effective use of a very modern fireworks launching platform.

Through the use of the latest fireworks effects, the meticulously-prepared performance by the Vietnamese contestants featured different stages, conveying a meaningful message about the sentimental attachment to the homeland, romantic love affairs, and affection for international friends worldwide.

To fully express this meaningful theme, the hosts explored their own creativity in using impressive lighting effects, colourful fireworks, and accompanying melodious gentle Vietnamese and modern international music in a bid to produce the most impressive fireworks show imaginable to the audience.

The astounding display, from beginning to end, was hailed with long rounds of warm applause from the enthusiastic spectators.

Ms Le Thi Thuy Chi, a tourist from neighbouring Quang Nam Province, was very impressed with the host team-performed show.

She hoped that the Vietnamese contestants would go through to the grand finale which is scheduled to take place on 30 June.
