Members from the Surex Firma Rodzinna (Team Poland) are the first foreign contestants to have arrived in the city for DIFF 2018.
Mr Rakuslaw Suzdalewicz, the team’s leader, said this is the second time that his team has participated in this much-waited international-level competition after the first in 2015 when they finished 2nd.
To date, all preparations for the show by the Polish competitors have been already completed, and they expect to thrill pyro-lovers with their majestic, delicate and meaningful display at the challenging but fascinating opening night.
The Polish competitors are very confident about their immense display which will highlight the perfect synchronisation of music and fireworks in a unique design, the collaboration of ground elements with sky elements, and the special compositions of colours to a mightily impressive performance from beginning to end.
Supported by a total of over 25 renowned pop songs, Team Poland-delivered display will feature the fascinating stories of bridges.

In particular, the spectators will have the chance to gain a glance into the image of a special bridge connecting Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany with Slubice in Poland, which has become a symbol of open borders between the two countries, and they are also expected to be introduced to the memorable history of the two countries.
In particular, the team revealed some special devices have been installed on the ground to create the best connection between high and low-level fireworks.
Despite facing the tough competitiveness from big contenders at DIFF 2018, Surex Firma Rodzinna is targeting to be crowned champions at this year’s event.
The hosts Team Da Nang-Viet Nam will demonstrate the fact that their modern firework firing equipment is now on a par with the other contenders.
All the 10 team members have been trained abroad and they have repeatedly raised the level of the performance art of fireworks over their previous competitions.
Team has now enriched its experience in creating a harmony between enchanting support music, impressive lighting effects, and sparkling colours in a bid to produce spectacular fireworks displays.
Leader Huynh Ngoc Chinh revealed his team will take ‘The Bridge of Love’ as its theme.
Through the use of the latest fireworks effects, the meticulously-prepared performance by the Vietnamese contestants will feature 5 stages, conveying a meaningful message about the sentimental attachment to the homeland, romantic love affairs, and affection for international friends worldwide.
To fully express this meaningful theme, the hosts will explore their own creativity in using impressive lighting effects, colourful fireworks, and accompanying melodious gentle Vietnamese and modern international music in a bid to produce the most impressive fireworks show imaginable to the audience.
Ms Nadia Wong Abdullah, the Director of the Global2000 Company from Malaysia, the consultants for DIFF 2018, said DIFF 2018 is expected to be a one-of-a-kind party of fireworks and entertainment arts, with the application of FireOne wireless system, which is the world's most advanced digital pyrotechnic firing and choreography system.
Besides, fiber-optic communication system will be used to transmit information from the firing location to viewing stands, instead of ultrasonic transmission as previously.
Hopefully, DIFF 2018 will be more fascinating than last year in terms of the main stage, arts performances and the application of modern special effects to meet the high expectations of locals and visitors.
