6,000m2 of land planned for expansion of APEC Park
The Da Nang authorities are considering to grant an around 5,600m2 land area on the corner of the Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet streets to the owners of 6,000m2 of land which will be taken back in order to expand the existing APEC Park.

According to the city-approved urban planning strategies, the land intended to be granted on the corner of the coastal Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet streets has been earmarked to construct a high-rise of between 26 and 33 storeys.
The riverside APEC park was build on a 3.047m2 triangular-shaped vacant land lot at the intersection area of 2 September street and Bach Dang extended street, near the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, in Hai Chau District’s Binh Hien Ward.
The expansion of this wonderful cultural landmark aims to create more green spaces for the city centre, and allow diplomatic events and festivals to be held here as well.
