With this win, Khanh Hoa tops the rankings out of 10 teams with 14 points. While Da Nang are at the bottom with only three points after seven matches.

“We are very glad as it is the first time we have topped the rankings,” said Tran Duy Hieu, manager of Khanh Hoa.

“Our rival played defencive attack so it was hard to score goals, however, we were patient to secure this win,” Hieu added.

“We aren’t disappointed. We will try our best in next matches,” said Hoang Nghia Quan, manager of Da Nang.

Khanh Hoa will next face Thai Son Bac today.
