Recently, the Da Nang authorities have given the go-ahead for the municipal Department of Tourism to organise a Food Festival at a park near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge from 31 August - 1 September.

In addition, the final round and awards ceremony of a contest for musical bands and dance groups is scheduled to be held at the same venue on 1 September.

Therefore, the Department of Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports have been asked to work together in order to arrange space for organising the 2 above-mentioned events.

The Department of Tourism has been urged to work closely with relevant agencies to ensure the sufficient supplies of power and water for the events, and food safety and hygiene for locals and visitors. The focus will be on guaranteeing the efficiency of fire prevention and fighting activities, and environmental sanitation during the events.
