ASEAN beauties get involved in protecting red-shanked douc langurs
On Wednesday, an exchange meeting between ASEAN women entrepreneurs and 3 beauties of Miss ASEAN Friendship 2017 took place at the Vooc Souvenir Café in Da Nang’s Son Tra District.
The 3 beauties were Miss ASEAN Friendship 2017 Nuttanan Naree from Thailand, the 1st runner-up Huynh Thi Yen Nhi from Viet Nam, and Tinaprit Kaur Dillon Balwant Singh from Malaysia.
Jointly organised by the municipal Travel Association and the Female Entrepreneurs’ Association, the meeting had ‘Miss ASEAN Friendship joins efforts with ASEAN women entrepreneurs to protect red-shanked douc langurs on the Son Tra Peninsula’ as its theme.
During the meeting, the participants discovered the unique beauty of the red-shanked douc langurs and the peninsula through a photo exhibition and short films there.
Especially, the entrepreneurs and invited guests donated a total of 65 million VND to the Nuoc Viet Xanh (GreenViet) Biodiversity Conservation Centre to protect red-shanked douc langurs.
