Following the success of the ‘Da Nang’s Expats Got Talent 2017’ contest, this year’s event is slated to take place at the Trung Vuong Theatre on 8 and 9 December.

The contest is open to any foreign economic, political or social groups, non-governmental organisations or international businesses that have an office in Da Nang, and to any expats who are living, studying and working in the city and neighboring localities.

Participants can perform either international or Vietnamese music, including folk or traditional songs of any kind, and are encouraged to dance, do magic, a circus performance or even perform modern arts. They can perform individually or in groups.

The event aims to promote arts and cultural exchanges amongst expat communities and locals in the city. Also, the event will help local residents to understand more about the cultures around the world, as well as advertise the city’s images to international friends through local expat communities.

Registration is open until 30 November, and interested expats can send the registration form to the event’s organisers at 32 Bach Dang in Da Nang.
