Over 800 runners to compete in 22nd DA NANG Newspaper Road Races on Saturday
The 22nd DA NANG Newspaper Road Races will take place at the city’s Tien Son Sport Arena on Saturday morning, 22 December.

The event is being co-organised by the newspaper, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training, the city’s Military Command, and the Police Department.
It is part of the celebrations for the 74th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam People's Army (22 December), and the 29th anniversary of People's National Defence Day (22 December). In addition, the event aims to respond to the ‘All People Do Physical Exercise Following of Uncle Ho’ Example’ campaign.

Over 800 runners in total are expected to participate in this year’s event. They are professional runners, employees from government agencies and companies, students from junior and senior high schools, vocational schools, junior colleges and universities across the city, along with officers and men from the city-based armed forces. Amongst the runners are 30 from the Danang Runners Group.
