Local talented female student gets involved in volunteer work
Ha Phuong Dung, a second-year student from the Japanese Language Faculty of the Da Nang University of Foreign Language Studies, is not only a talented student but also a person who has been actively involved in doing volunteer work.

At the talent category in the semi-final of the Miss Student 2018, Phuong Dung won the highest score for her performance combining singing the ‘We belong together’ song and playing the piano.
Thanks to her impressive performance, Phuong Dung won the award for Gifted Student at the Miss Student 2018.
In addition, the female student was one of the top 3 best candidates for the beauty pageant’s English Eloquence Category.
Dung said “Beautiful women will become more confident and have many opportunities in her life, but the most important thing is their efforts in improving their knowledge and professional skills every day. English helps us connect to the world. An English Eloquence Category at the beauty pageant will help to create extra motivation for female students to enhance their knowledge and professional skills”.
Apart from the above-mentioned talents, Dung has been actively involved in volunteer activities.
Whilst competing in Miss Student 2018, Dung and other candidates visited the city’s SOS Children's Village which has been home to hundreds of vulnerable, at-risk, abandoned, orphaned and very poor children.
She added that the village would be one of top destinations in her forthcoming charity trip.
Talking about her upcoming plan, Phuong Dung noted she would continue her efforts to achieve the best possible academic results. She dreams to become a Japanese Language teacher in the future.
