19 international painters to visit the city for fine arts creation
Popular Vietnamese painters and 19 others from such foreign countries as Australia, China, France, Germany, South Korea, Mauritius, Myanmar, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Thailand and the USA will gather in Da Nang from 26 July to 7 August for a first-ever international exhibition featuring their fine arts creations in the city.
The event will be held by the Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
During the event, the participating artists will be given the opportunity to visit some of Da Nang’s magnificent sightseeing spots such as the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, the Son Tra Peninsula, the Wonder World Ba Na Hills, in addition to a tour around the ancient city of Hoi An in the neighbouring central province of Quang Nam. During their visits, the participants will be creating their works.
An exhibition to display their creations will open to the public at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, at 78 Le Duan Street, Hai Chau District.
The upcoming event is expected to help boost connectivity between domestic and foreign artists. Besides, locals and visitors will also enjoy the chance to view amazing creations of both Vietnamese and international painters.
