Currently, JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland and Pyrotex Fireworx Ltd from the UK are racing against time to prepare for their upcoming shows tomorrow evening.
Mr Mark Kelsall, the leader of the British team, said his team hold a strong desire to be crowned champions at DIFF 2019, promising that they would not disappoint the spectators with their most spectacular shows.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Finnish team, Mr Johan Hollander, revealed his team would use more than 10,000 firecrackers in total in order to produce the best possible fireworks shows in the grand finale night.
According to DIFF 2019’s organisers, during 4 competition nights of the international-level fireworks event, 7 viewing stands, offering a combined total of 16,670 ticketed seats, were filled spectators. In addition, a total of over 200 artistes, singers and actors participated in arts shows during the 4 nights.
More than 33,770 firecrackers were used by the 8 participating teams, creating spectacular and attractive fireworks displays along the both banks of the Han River.

Being impressed with the wonderful performances produced by the British and Finnish teams, photographer Tran Van Dinh from Ha Noi decides to fly to Da Nang to hunt beautiful fireworks photos.
“This year’s fireworks shows produced by the participating teams are more attractive than last year’s. I find it very difficult to predict which team will be crowned the champions at DIFF 2019 because both British and Finnish teams are very excellent. For my opinion, I am very impressed by the UK’s performances, especially their unique fireworks effects” Mr Dinh added.
Coming from Quang Binh Province, Ms Le Thanh Giang commented DIFF 2019 saw the participation of new and reputable teams. Amongst, the newcomers Finland brought a lot of surprises to the audiences, so she hoped they would be crowned the champions at DIFF 2019.
According to Ms Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, over the past decade, DIFF has been constantly innovating to become a tourism brand name and cultural event at national and international levels, which has helped to make Da Nang an inviting destination for both domestic and foreign tourists.
Da Nang has seen a growing number of visitors to the city every fireworks season, which is the vivid evidence for DIFF’s magnet over the past 10 year. This has contributed to promoting the city’s socio-economic development during that period.
