At a recent press conference it has been announced that a charity musical concert entitled ‘Joining Efforts to Relieve Pain of Agent Orange (AO) Victims’ will take place at Da Nang’s Trung Vuong Theatre at 7.30pm on Sunday, 4 August.

The purpose of the event is to raise money for over 5,000 AO victims across the country, including 120 in Da Nang.

The forthcoming event is jointly organised by the Da Nang Association of AO Victims (DAVA), the city’s Military High Command, the municipal Department of Education and Training, the War Veterans’ Association, the Da Nang Radio and Television, the DA NANG Newspaper, the Da Nang Youth Union and the city-based Duong Thanh Viet Co Ltd.

At the event, 21 gifts, worth 600,000 VND each, will be presented to local AO victims.

To date, around 772 million VND has been raised for the event from 145 generous individuals and organisations at both home and abroad.
