HCMC remain at top by beating SHB
SHB Da Nang suffered a 3-2 away loss to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) at the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Just eight minutes into the game, striker Djicka Gassissou Aime opened the scoring for the visitors with a header as being left free in the penalty area.
Six minutes later, the score was 1-1 after SHB’s goalkeeper made mistake by giving the ball to Pham Cong Hien who tapped in for a goal.
In the 21st minute, Gassissou doubled the score for the guests, helping them temporarily take the lead.
However, SHB players let HCMC’s Huynh Kesley Alves level the score at 2-2 in the last minutes of the first half.
Ten minutes after the break, Masaray Victor Nabay lifted the hosts ahead for the first time in this match.
HCMC’s midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh brought the ball pass many SHB players to reach Masaray in the box who increased the score to 3-2 to the hosts.
In the other matches, Ha Noi managed a 1-1 home draw against Hoang Anh Gia Lai at the Hang Day Stadium, whilst Quang Ninh beat Viettel 1-0 at the Cua Ong Stadium.
Quang Nam lost 1-2 to Hai Phong at home, while Nam Dinh had a 4-2 home win over Thanh Hoa. Khanh Hoa defeated Becamex Binh Duong 1-0 at the 19 August Nha Trang Stadium.
After the first 16 rounds, Ho Chi Minh City currently top the league with 33 points, followed by Ha Noi on 30. Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Sanna Khanh Hoa are the bottom 2, with 16 and 13 points respectively.
SHB DN will face Nam Dinh at home on Sunday 20 July at 5pm.
