The matches are against Malaysia on 10 October, the UAE on 14 November, Thailand on 19 November and Indonesia on 4 June, 2020.

Viet Nam Television is negotiating to buy the broadcast rights of the four matches played on away ground.

The national team was set to have just four days to prepare for their first match against arch-rival Thailand on 5 September because the V. League’s 23rd round ends on 1 September.

As result, the Viet Nam Football Federation and the Viet Nam Professional Football Company which manages the tournament agreed on 24 July to postpone the V. League matches to another day, giving players more time to rest and train.

The change means the league will wrap up later than planned and the time allotted for the U22 team to prepare for November’s SEA Games will be shortened.

Coach Park Hang-seo agreed with the new schedule shift.
