Matches in the 19^th round of Viet Nam’s top-tier V-League 2019 took place at stadiums across the country from 2 - 4 August.

SHB and Quang Ninh players

Both Quang Ninh and SHB Da Nang were determined to win the game to improve their positions on the ranking table.

Taking the advantage of playing at home, Quang Ninh took control of the game from the beginning. They played actively and made continuous and varied attacks to put pressure on their rivals.

By contrast, SHB players focused on defence, and waited for great opportunities to launch counter-attacks.

Despite of their efforts, no goal was scored by the two teams during the first half.

In the 47^th minute, striker Rod Dyachenko opened the scoring for the hosts with a powerful header after latching on to an accurate pass from striker Kouassi Yao Hermann.

Two minutes later, striker Do Merlo’s direct shot at goal levelled the score at 1-1 for the visitors.

In the remaining minutes of the second half, Quang Ninh players tried to seek scoring opportunities, but they found it very hard to trouble their rivals' defence. Therefore, the game finally ended at 1-1, and both Quang Ninh and SHB remained their positions on the ranking table.
