The International U21 Football Championship 2019 is slated to take place at the Da Nang-based Hoa Xuan Stadium from 30 October - 5 November.

The tournament will have 4 teams participating: defending champions U21 Viet Nam, U21 FK Sarajevo, Japanese students, and South Korea’s Hanyang University.

Under the competition’s rules, the teams will compete in a round-robin format. Accordingly, the first and second in the group will go through the final round of the tournament, whilst the two remaining teams will compete in the third-place play-off match.

Amongst the participating teams, U21 FK Sarajevo is a young team of the Sarajevo Club. The team’s players have been playing for the Bosnia and Herzegovina football championships.

Also, the Hanyang University and the Japanese Student Team are considered as strong rivals at this year’s tournament.
