Awarded annually to the best triathlons on the continent, shortlisted events were judged on criteria including overall organisation, host location, fun-factor and course scenery.

Previously, the Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship 2019 has made it into the list of top 3 Best Mass Participation Events of the Year by Mass Participation World at the awards ceremony of the SPIA Asia 2019 (Asia's Sports Industry Awards and Conference) in Singapore.

The VNG IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam Triathlon 2020 is expected to take place in Da Nang on 10 May.
