Bach Dang Walking Street Night Market expected to open on 29 March
To date, 30% of the construction work on the Bach Dang Walking Street Night Market in Da Nang has been completed.
The site is expected to open to the public on 29 March to mark the 45th anniversary of the city's liberation.
Developed by the city branch of the Ngoi Sao Bien Sai Gon Company, the site is located on a section of Bach Dang between its intersections with Binh Minh 4 and Binh Minh 9 streets in Binh Thuan and Hoa Thuan Dong wards in Hai Chau District.
The 2.2ha site will be home to 202 stalls on an area of 1,308m2. These stalls, which open from 6.00pm until 2.00am, will sell fashionable clothes, bags, footwear, food and drinks, souvenirs, handicrafts, and more. Meanwhile, the 9,750m2 walking street will operate between 4.00pm and 4.00am.
Also, there will be a space for street arts performances, a square for organising cultural events, an office for the Market Management Board, an entertainment area for children, a public toilet area, and a parking area.
Notably, visitors to this site will also have the opportunity to take sightseeing boat tours in order to explore the beauty of the city, especially its beautiful bridges, at night.
