Le Thi Minh Nguyet who is living in the Monarchy apartment building in Son Tra District is a typical example.

Nguyet was born and grew up in Ha Noi, and she really loved her hometown in the capital of Viet Nam . However, after her short trip to Da Nang 8 years ago, she decided to move to the central city to settle here with her husband, and they are running their own business in this city.

Nguyet explained the reason is that Da Nang is known for its scenic natural beauty, and boasts beautiful beaches, and she likes a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere in this city. For this reason, she decided to settle in Da Nang to enjoy its beautiful landscape and healthy environment.

“My family has a special love for nature so we always build a positive lifestyle. We often visit the Son Tra Peninsula on weekends to climb mountains, see monkeys, catch grasshoppers and fully immerse ourselves in nature”, Nguyet said.

She noted, since living in Da Nang, her family has never had to travel far on such public holidays as the National Reunification Day (30 April), International Labour Day (1 May), and National Day (2 September) because a wide range of exciting entertainment activities are organised in the city on these special holidays.

Another young migrant is Le Nhu Tham from Quang Tri Province, the owner of the Ramleather shop at 204B Thanh Thuy Street in Hai Chau District, said, in Da Nang, he can find it easier to access his potential customers than other cities and provinces nationwide.

Tham worked at a bank in Hue City for 5 years before moving to Da Nang for starting a business.

During his stay in Hue, Tham started to develop handmade leather accessories, including watch straps, wallets, and phone bags. Initially, his products were mainly sold to his friends and relatives. After his products have won the trust of buyers, he has opened the Ramleather shop in Da Nang.

Born in Nghe An Province’s Do Luong District, Nguyen Minh Tuyen established the Khoi Nguyen Technology Application Co., Ltd, in Ha Noi over 10 years ago.

In 2019, Tuyen and his family moved to Da Nang. Tuyen explained the reason for moving to the coastal city was to expand consumption market for his company’s products, and to help his children to enjoy a healthier, safer, and more comfortable living environment.

In addition, he is very impressed by the enthusiasm, friendliness and good-hearted nature of local residents. The traffic congestion problem in Da Nang is not as bad as in Ha Noi. Also, people are not worried about street robbery.
