International Children Day celebrations in the city
The Da Nang Fine Arts Museum is hosting a wide range of events and activities to celebrate the International Children's Day (1 June) and respond to the National Action Month for Children 2020.
Between 28 May and 30 June, a painting exhibition will highlight its theme of ‘Colours of Childhood’ showcasing 45 paintings created by local children.
Children will have a great time to see Dong Ho folk paintings, the graphic arts, and the art of Tuong mask drawing from the museum.
Families and their children can also get involved in a training course on how to print the Dong Ho folk painting themed ‘Dam Cuoi Chuot’ (Rat's wedding), decorate paper face masks, and draw on cloth face masks, to be held at 2.30pm on 31 May. Participation fee is 150,000 VND (around 7 USD) per child.
In addition, the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre will present puppet shows entitled ‘Exciting Summer Days’ for children at 9.30am and 3.00pm on 30 May, and 9.30am on 31 May. Tickets for kids cost 50,000 VND (2.2 USD) per person.
