Previously, Mr Truong Minh Hoang residing on Pham Van Xao Street in Son Tra District's Nai Hien Dong Ward had reported to the Nai Hien Dong Ward People's Committee about  two monkeys having strayed from their natural habitats into his house. These wild animals had destroyed many things in his house and attacked his children.

After receiving the report from Mr Hoang, the ward authorities have asked the Son Tra-Ngu Hanh Son Forest Ranger Division to catch the monkeys in order to release them back into the wild.

The staff of the Son Tra-Ngu Hanh Son Forest Ranger Division said that one monkey weighs about 1.9kg and the other weighs about 0.7kg. The forest rangers have then released these animals into the wild on the Son Tra Peninsula but is far away from tourist sites here in order to ensure the safety of visitors.

Chairman of the Nai Hien Dong Ward People's Committee Cao Dinh Hai said recent years have seen a growing number of these wild animals straying into residential areas in his locality. Chairman Hai advises residents to call 0236 383 11 38 and 0236 383 11 08 to ask for help from the ward authorities and the Son Tra-Ngu Hanh Son Forest Ranger Division respectively when they find these animals in their residential areas.
