Danabeach Color draws much attention from locals and visitors

Since Danabeach Color officially opened on 7 July, it has become a favourite rendezvous of both local residents and visitors thanks to its spacious and airy space. 

The spot, decorated with rows of colorful tables and chairs, and umbrellas, enables its visitors to enjoy pure air from the sea, relieve their tiredness, and have a fun time with their friends whilst enjoying delicious drinks and dishes here.

Ms Le Thanh Dung from Ha Noi said she and her friends had visited Danabeach Color during their stay in Da Nang after seeing their friends sharing beautiful check-in photos there on their Facebook pages.

Dung said Danabeach Color is definitely one of the highly-recommended places in the city you must visit to take truly stunning, beautiful and unusual pictures.

Sharing the idea for the development of ​​ Danabeach Color, Mr Hua Thanh Toan, the manager of Danabeach Color, said Da Nang’s beaches boast clear blue waters and soft white sands but they look pretty monotonous. He also highlighted the development of a special new product to attract more visitors to Da Nang.

Visitors to Danabeach Color can comfortably lean on lazy soft-coloured chairs to relax, overlook the sea and watch the sunset.

Boasting 120 tables and 350 lazy chairs, Danabeach Color is a great place for those who want to relax or dispels all sultry summer days.

Mr Nguyen Duc Vu, the Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches, highlighted the importance of such new and unique tourism product to increase visitor numbers in Da Nang. 

He revealed that the Da Nang government has taken actions to create ‘sleepless’ beaches highlighting a variety of highly inviting night-time entertainment services in order to make Da Nang a ‘sleepless destination’ in the eye of both domestic and foreign tourists. Included will be campsites, specialised foot massage and reflexology services and film projections on beaches along the Truong Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Hoang Sa and Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal routes.

Besides, such 24/7 entertainment services as folk dancing, street musical performance  and arts lighting shows will be launched on a certain section of Vo Nguyen Giap coastal street between its intersections with Ngo Thi Si and Nguyen Van Thoai streets.

Also, a project on promoting community-based tourism at the Tho Quang and Man Thai beaches will be developed.

On the basis of learning about the community-based tourism model in the Boracay Island in the Philippines and the actual situation at the Tho Quang and Man Thai beaches, the project will feature six 80m-long and 20m-wide clusters of tourism services with an area of 1,600m2 each.

Each cluster will feature between 5 and 9 tourism services, including drinks, food and souvenirs.
