The World Golf Awards has announced its winners for 2020, and the 18-hole Ba Na Hills Golf Club in Da Nang is among one of six IMG clubs named to the Best Golf Course in Asia.

World Golf Awards™ serves to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism through our annual awards programme. World Golf Awards™ is part of World Travel Awards™.

Although the official awards ceremony could not take place in Dubai due to international travel restrictions, the World Golf Awards continues to showcase the best golf courses globally and is recognised as one of the most coveted awards in the golf industry.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Ba Na Hills Golf Club has won the Best Course in Asia and Best Course in Viet Nam.

The following IMG Clubs have won World Golf Awards this year:

“This is really a great achievement of Ba Na Hills Golf Club when it has earned a prominent place on one of the biggest stages in world golf for four consecutive years despite the fierce competition," said Christ Frost, the Managing Director of the World Golf Awards.

“However, the victory with the highest number of votes is the clear proof of Ba Na Hills Golf Club's exceptional service quality. Especially, these votes are cast by experts of the golf industry and customers who experienced golf products of this golf club,” Christ Frost remarked.

Opened in 2016 and designed by former World No.1 golfer Luke Donald in association with IMG, Ba Na Hills Golf Club earned a place among the Best New Golf Courses in the World in the first year of its operation.

More recently, at the 2020 Travellers’ Choice award announced in September, Ba Na Hills Golf Club made it berth in the Top 10 percent of destinations worldwide for outdoor activities, including golf.
