On 1 and 2 January, Da Nang people and tourists got excited to explore the beauty of Da Nang, especially the stunning beauty of bridges spanning the Han River with free-of-charge evening sightseeing cruises. These free boat tours on Han River offered locals and visitors unique views of Da Nang and helped them watch the dragon’s head breathe firing and squirting water.  

Jointly launched by Da Nang Department of Tourism and Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Waterway Tourism Association, the free boat tours were part of the 'Da Nang Welcomes in New Year 2021' Festival which ran between 29 December 2020 and 2 January 2021.

All passengers were asked to wear face masks and clean their hands before taking in sightseeing cruises.

60- minute sightseeing cruises on Han River offered unique views of beautiful bridges spanning the Han River at night, and helped passengers watch the dragon’s head breathe firing and squirting water at the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge.
