The cancellation of the event aims to ensure the safety for the public across Da Nang amid coronavirus fears.
The shows were due to take place on Lunar New Year’s Eve, which will fall on 12 February, at the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, the Phuong Trang vacant land area in front of the Lien Chieu District Administrative Centre, and a vacant site in front of the Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre.
Da Nang government has asked relevant agencies to pay attention to providing practical support for migrant workers who cannot return to their hometowns to enjoy a warm and happy Tet.
