E-exhibition marks 110th year of Ho Chi Minh's journey for national salvation
A book exhibition is going virtual at www.book365.vn to mark the 110th year since President Ho Chi Minh left Viet Nam on June 5, 1911 to start a journey around the world looking for ways in a bid to ultimately liberate Viet Nam from colonial rule.
The event is being held by the Ministry of Information and Communications in partnership with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Popularisation and Education, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On display at the ongoing virtual exhibition, scheduled to run through June 15, are a wide range of valuable publications and archives telling the stories of President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career.
In addition, there will be online talks between authors and readers as a way of helping to promote a reading culture in the community.
The online event aims to help arouse national pride, ardent patriotism and put faith upon the Party and Uncle Ho amongst the general public, as well as raise the awareness and responsibility of people from all walks of life, especially the young generation, in following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle to make more significant contributions to the country’s progress.
