The Da Nang People's Committee has given a nod to organise a series of activities to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of Da Nang’s recognition as a centrally-governed city on January 1, 1997.

Amongst the notable activities will be scientific seminars to evaluate the achievements of 25 years of construction and development of the city, ‘Da Nang - 25 years of Achievements and Prospects’ exhibition, a short film contest themed ‘Wow Da Nang’,  a fireworks display on the evening of January 1, 2022 and a special arts programme in conjunction with the celebration of the 25^th anniversary of Da Nang’s recognition as a centrally-governed city.

In addition, the Da Nang Socio-Economic Development Magazine under the municipal Institute of Socio-Economic Development will release a special publication highlighting the city’s outstanding socio-economic achievements over the past 25 years.

There will be publicity activities on raising public awareness of revolutionary traditions associated with promoting local socio-economic, defence and security achievements;

Last, but not least, the city will see the much-awaited Countdown Party and other cultural events to welcome in the New Year 2022.
