In-person events cannot take place in Da Nang due to COVID-19 restrictions, the municipal Musicians’ Association on Friday, September 3, launched a virtual music program carrying its theme of 'Da Nang firmly believes in victory against COVID-19' to celebrate Viet Nam Music Day.

The music event was streamed on YouTube beginning at 2:00 pm today, September 3.

The music program featured 12 best songs written by members of the municipal Musicians’ Association selected through two campaigns for writing songs about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Most notably, many songs have been widely appreciated by the general public in the city, including ‘Da Nang firmly believes in victory’ composed by musician Thai Phu, ‘Choir singing to fight COVID-19’ written by musician Nguyen Duy Khoai, and ‘White Soldiers’ by musician Cao Tam.

Musicians showcase expressions of love for all people across Viet Nam affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the music events, the artists want to inspire hope and determination in every one across Viet Nam to win the fight against COVID-19.
